Captain Pip’s photo gallery

Bill Warburton visited Pip’s a few years ago while still living in Alaska – he kept us in stitches with his stories about life in the frozen north. This visit he brought brother, Rod, who landed this 34-lb African Pompano during their stay.

Captain Johnny Maddox (center) shows off one of the dolphins caught aboard “Pip’s 36” by the LeBel family – Scott, Michelle, Ron, Michael and Bridget. Only Scott and Michelle braved the heat for the photo, the rest of the family was cooling off in the air conditioning.
The ice man cometh. . . to fish. Fred DiStasio, owner of Marathon Ice, and his son show off this nice dolphin caught aboard “Pip’s 36” with Captain Bob Crockett (left) and fishing mate, Chris Morin (right).
Mike Nordberg, brings his 29-ft Century over from Marco Island to fish with the crew at Captain Pip’s on a pretty regular basis. Here Mike (right) and fishing mate Chris Morin show off a beautiful bull Dolphin.
The Brown family – (from left) Tom, Sue, Michelle, 8-week old Ashley, Tyler and Heath show off their dolphin catch. Professional fishing guide, Dallas Tisdale (the bearded one) fished with them on their 23-foot Grady White during their two-week stay.
Big, Big, Big, Big Bar-B-Q – that’s the only Way to describe Porky’s new rolling Bar-B-Q Party. The newest addition to Porky’s Bayside – now the Keys best Bar-B-Q can travel to your party..
Josh Gilmartin, fishing mate (left), helps show off “Mr. and Mrs. Dolphin” caught aboard “Papa Pip’s” with Captain Bob Crockett (right) at the helm.
California pals Steve and Bev Larsen just keep coming back – and we love it. Here they enjoy the new and improved Porky’s with their “left-coast” friends.
Taxes may be inevitable, but Linda Brown, manager of Marathon’s Tax Collectors office, certainly didn’t expect to land this140-lb blue marlin on her first fishing trip, ever. Linda and her friends were fishing on “Papa Pip’s” with Captain Bob Crockett and fishing mate, Josh Gilmartin.
