"Don   Pedro's  Sangria"

Another of our favorite restaurants in Marathon is Don Pedro Restaurant – some of the best Cuban food we’ve ever tasted and their homemade Sangria is a "must try." Here’s a simple Sangria recipe you can prepare at home -- when you can’t make it to Don Pedro’s for dinner.

Sangria
1 (26-ounce) bottle Spanish red wine
1 Cup club soda
 

1 Orange, thinly sliced
1 Lemon, thinly sliced or 2 Key limes
1 Peach chopped
1 Apple, diced
Combine wine and soda in a serving pitcher.
Stir in orange and remaining three ingredients.
Chill and serve in large, ice-filled wine glasses.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
