Christmas Eve Pecans
Good friends and repeat guests at Captain Pip’s, Vinnie and Sandy Crapanzano from Manahawkin, N.J. made a batch of the best Pecans we’ve ever tasted! Here’s Sandy’s recipe!
 

Ingredients:

1 egg white
4 cups pecan halves
½ cup sugar
1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt

How to:

Beat egg white until foamy.
Add pecans, and stir gently until coated. Set aside.
Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt.
Sprinkle over pecans and stir gently until coated.
Spread pecans in a lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Cool completely.
