Live well, laugh often, love much – and eat well

Live well, laugh often, love much is our motto at Captain Pip’s. After Thanksgiving dinner, we had to add, "eat well." Any pot luck dinner that starts with four deep-fried turkeys is off to a good start. Cookie Tompkins made a delicious bread pudding and, before heading back to Bear, Delaware, she shared the recipe with us. Our crew couldn’t get enough of this heavenly combination – let us know what your crew has to say.

Cookie Tompkins Bread Pudding Recipe

Lg. loaf white bread – cubed
½ C. sugar
2 Lg. cans crushed pineapple
6 eggs
1 ½ sticks butter
Cinnamon

Cream butter, sugar, eggs. Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. YUM!
